Limited Lifetime Warranty

LUBKER DISTRIBUTION Proferred® Hand Tools are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty as supported by Brighton Best International, LLC.

Brighton-Best International, also known as BBI, Proferred® Hand Tool products, except as otherwise specified, are warranted under normal use and service against defects in materials and workmanship.

This warranty does not cover wear and tear from normal use or any damage or product failure caused in whole or part by misuse, abuse, or alteration as determined at BBI’s sole judgment.

Warranty Limitations

LUBKER DISTRIBUTION NOR BBI MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES AND THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

AGENTS, DISTRIBUTORS AND RETAILERS OF BBI HAND TOOLS HAVE NO AUTHORITY TO MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THOSE CONTAINED IN THIS WARRANTY.

Exclusive Remedy

Your sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of this warranty, as determined at BBI’s sole discretion, shall either be the repair or replacement of the defective tool or a refund of the manufacturer’s suggested retail price.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE WILL LUBKER DISTRIBUTION OR BBI BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR DAMAGES TO PROPERTY LOSS OR PERSONAL INJURY.

THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN NOTICE AT ANY TIME AND AT BBI’S SOLE DISCRETION.

Exceptions

Consumable products that are reasonably expected to be worn out or damaged during use, including but not limited to micrometer torque wrenches or bit sockets, are warranted to the original purchaser only against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year after the date of purchase under normal use and service.

This warranty does not cover wear from normal use, or any damage or product failure caused by misuse, abuse, alteration or improper maintenance of the tool.

Proof of date of purchase will be required to redeem warranties for these products.

Claims Procedure

Please contact the LUBKER DISTRIBUTION e-commerce sales department of Proferred Tools by phone at 866-822-7758 or by email at proferredwarranty@lubkerdist.com to report a claim and receive return authorization.

An approved return will include an emailed or faxed return authorization packing slip.

  1. Contact LUBKER DISTRIBUTION to report the warranty claim.
  2. Receive an approved return authorization packing slip by email or fax.
  3. Carefully package the warranted product into a box so that it is protected during shipment.
  4. Insert the printed return authorization form into the package.
  5. Drop the package off at any UPS store so your warranty can be processed.

If your warranty involves a ratchet or breaker bar, please call first, as it most likely can be fixed with a repair kit that we can send you.

Processing Time

In most cases, warranty claims are processed within 4–5 weeks. In rare instances, claims may take up to 8 weeks depending on product availability.
